The transcript is presented as a single, large text field, giving the user control over how notes and transcripts are organized. The timecodes can either by entered manually, by typing a specific time, or automatically: the user can press a single key and InqScribe will automatically enter the current playback time. The user can insert timecodes - representations of specific time points within the media - into the transcript at any point. In premiere, export the sequence of your interview media as a Final Cut Pro XMLĦ. Once done, download the file as a Tab-separated value (.tsv)ĥ. Also, you can copy the 00:00:00:00 Duration to the whole Duration column. Fill them with the desired names (I copy/paset the ones in row 2). The Name, Type and Color columns wil remain blank. You can also paste, if you exported from Inqscribe, the Speaker Name and duration of every mark you want to create. Paste the excel columns (Transcription text and Start timecode). Open a Google Drive Spreadsheet with the following columns: Name, Type, Marker Name, Comment, Start, Duration, Color. To do that, just select the whole column or columns that include timecode values, click Edit/Find/Replace and replace the dots (.) for colons (:).Ĥ. Since Inqscribe uses a dot (.) to separate seconds and frames, you need to change it into a colon (:).
